Seeley's Gully

On Monday, as a part of our Turangawaewae unit, we visited Seeley's Gully as a class. We had learnt about the Gully and how it came to be, so it was amazing to be able to go and see it in real life (for a few of us it was our first time!). We listened to stories about the Gully, noticed the native trees and birds - especially the cheeky piwakawaka. We spent time quietly reflecting and sketching. What a fantastic trip!
