Mahi toi - Sketching

It's been a wet and rainy week. One thing we love to do is Mahi Toi. We have been learning some sketching techniques - loud/soft pencil. Hatching and cross hatching to show shading and detail. This week after a very wet lunch we had some relaxing time sketching the skeleton of a deer! Do you know any sketching techniques?
